About this driver

Puts your Dyson connected fans, heaters, purifiers and humidifiers on your RTI panels: power, fan speed, Auto, Night, oscillation (on/off and angle), airflow direction, continuous monitoring and sleep timer, plus heat with a target temperature on Hot+Cool models, humidify with a target humidity and the 45, 90 or Breeze oscillation range on Humidify+Cool models, and airflow tilt on Big+Quiet models. It reads what each device senses: temperature, humidity, PM2.5, PM10, VOC, NO2, formaldehyde on models with that sensor, CO2 on Big+Quiet, an overall air-quality rating, and HEPA/carbon filter life, each exposed as both a value and a labeled state, so a single text field or a color-coded button just works. One instance covers your whole Dyson home: every device comes in as its own capability-gated source, so a Pure Cool shows fan controls, a Hot+Cool gets a full RTI Climate page, and a Humidify+Cool adds humidity, with no dead buttons. Each device fires its own automation events (came online or went offline, power on/off, air-quality alert or cleared, filter low, fault) so a Dyson can trigger any RTI macro. Setup: for units with a Wi-Fi/Product password on the device or box card you type it in; for newer units without one, you sign in to MyDyson once from Integration Designer and the driver adds every device on the account for you, each with its own exact product code. Choose how each install connects: Local talks to each Dyson directly over your network, Cloud reaches it through Dyson's cloud with no network access to the device needed, and Auto runs local and falls back to the cloud for any device it cannot reach. The connection heals itself after a network drop or a power cut, and the driver writes a status report of every device to the processor System Log, so if a model ever misbehaves we can see exactly what it reported. One license per processor. 120-minute MAC-locked free trial: try before you buy.

What's included

  • Full control of your Dyson fans, heaters, purifiers and humidifiers: power, fan speed, Auto, Night, oscillation, airflow, sleep timer
  • Heat + target temperature on Hot+Cool (a full RTI Climate page); humidify + target humidity and 45 / 90 / Breeze oscillation on Humidify+Cool; tilt on Big+Quiet
  • Live readings: temperature, humidity, PM2.5 / PM10 / VOC / NO2, formaldehyde, CO2 (Big+Quiet), overall air quality, and HEPA / carbon filter life
  • Every reading exposed as both a value and a labeled state: text fields and color-coded buttons just work
  • One instance covers your whole Dyson home: each device is its own capability-gated source, no dead buttons
  • Per-device automation events (air-quality alert, filter low, fault, power, online/offline) trigger any RTI macro
  • Older units with a sticker and newer units without one: MyDyson setup adds every device on the account for you
  • Three connection modes: Local (direct, no cloud), Cloud (no network access to the device needed), or Auto (local with cloud fallback)
  • Self-healing connection, plus a status report of every device in the processor System Log. One license per processor
  • 120-minute MAC-locked free trial: try before you buy

What you should know before buying

  • Supported: Pure Cool and Pure Cool Link (TP02, TP04, TP07, TP09, TP11, PC1), Pure Cool Link Desk and Pure Cool Desk, Pure Hot+Cool and Hot+Cool Link (HP02, HP04, HP07, HP09), Pure Humidify+Cool (PH01 to PH04) and Purifier Big+Quiet (BP02 to BP04). Not supported yet: HushJet Purifier Compact, Cool CF1 (AM12) and Solarcycle Morph. Robot vacuums, lights and headphones are not part of this driver.
  • Our bench runs a Pure Hot+Cool Link (HP02) in Local and Cloud modes. The other models follow the same Dyson protocol as the open-source Home Assistant integration.
  • Every device must be set up in the MyDyson app once before the driver can control it.

How licensing works

  1. Download the driver (free — button on the right), install it in Integration Designer, and load to your processor. It runs unlocked for a total of 120 minutes of run time for compatibility testing. The clock is cumulative, so it does not reset when the processor reboots.
  2. Buy a license here, then sign in and enter your processor's MAC address on your account page. We issue a signed license key bound to that MAC.
  3. Paste the key into the driver's configuration. The trial wall goes away and the driver runs unlocked indefinitely.
