About this driver

Brings your entire Samsung SmartThings account onto your RTI panels — the lights, dimmers, color bulbs, switches, locks, shades, garage doors, thermostats, air conditioners, fans, sensors and scenes you already control in the SmartThings app. Device types outside that list, a robot vacuum or a camera for example, are not brought across. Setup is browser-only and takes about two minutes: click Connect, sign in to Samsung, paste a pairing code — no app to install, no token to manage, nothing to program by hand. You Connect once and stay connected: the link is saved on the processor and survives reboots and normal program re-downloads, so routine updates never require re-pairing — you'd only click Connect again (for a fresh code) if the processor's saved data is cleared, such as a factory reset or loading a different program onto it. AutoConfig discovers every device by its real name and drops named functions, variables and events into your project, each carrying its official RTI button tag so templated panel buttons auto-bind. State is real-time: an external change — at a physical switch, in the SmartThings app, or by a voice assistant — reflects on your RTI panel in about a second, with an automatic background refresh that keeps even slow vendor clouds current. Built to bank-level standards: you sign in directly with Samsung (we never see your password), your credentials never live on our servers, all traffic is encrypted, live events are cryptographically verified, and we don't log or sell your data. This is a cloud driver (it talks to the SmartThings cloud, like the app does) and is not a Samsung-TV driver — for TVs, use RTI's dedicated Samsung TV driver. Up to 100 devices; one license per processor (one SmartThings account per processor). 120-minute MAC-locked free trial — try before you buy.

  • One-click browser setup — sign in with Samsung, paste a code; no app, no token to manage, nothing to hand-program

  • AutoConfig discovers every device by its real name + official RTI button tags for drag-and-drop programming
  • Bank-level security: you sign in with Samsung, your credentials never touch our servers, encrypted + signature-verified, nothing logged or sold

  • Up to 100 devices; one license per processor
  • 120-minute MAC-locked free trial — try before you buy

What you should know before buying

  • How many of each, on one driver instance: 40 lights and dimmers, 40 measuring sensors (temperature, humidity, light level, power, battery), 40 on/off sensors (contact, motion, water, smoke, presence), 30 switches, 15 shades, 15 fans, 10 locks, 10 garage doors, 10 thermostats, 10 air conditioners, 10 buttons, 10 valves, 10 speakers and 20 scenes, up to 100 devices in total.
  • Device types outside those classes, a robot vacuum or a camera for example, are not brought across. If you need more of any one class, email support@customcontroldrivers.com and we will raise it for you.
  • One license per processor, and one SmartThings account per processor.

How licensing works

  1. Download the driver (free — button on the right), install it in Integration Designer, and load to your processor. It runs unlocked for a total of 120 minutes of run time for compatibility testing. The clock is cumulative, so it does not reset when the processor reboots.
  2. Buy a license here, then sign in and enter your processor's MAC address on your account page. We issue a signed license key bound to that MAC.
  3. Paste the key into the driver's configuration. The trial wall goes away and the driver runs unlocked indefinitely.
